Tuble Maron

Seller privacy

This draft explains how Tuble Maron handles personal data we collect from sellers. The shop privacy policy covers customers. Both drafts will be finalised with legal counsel.

1. Who we are

Tuble Maron, Ismailia, Egypt, is the controller of seller data used to run the marketplace. This notice applies when you register as a seller, sign in to the dashboard, or write to us about your store.

2. Data we collect

We collect your name, email, phone, store name, national ID, date of birth, address, commercial register and tax numbers, IBAN and account-holder name, the sectors you sell in, and later document scans (ID, tax card, register, address proof). We also log sign-ins and listing activity to keep the shop secure.

3. Why we use it

We use this data to verify who you are, meet Egyptian tax and consumer-protection duties, pay you, show “Sold by” on the shop, prevent fraud, and contact you about orders or policy issues. We do not put national ID or bank details on the public store page or in the customer profile API.

4. Sharing

We share seller data only with banks and payment partners for payouts, couriers when an order requires it, hosting and security providers, and authorities when the law requires. We do not sell seller data.

5. Legal basis

We process seller data to perform the seller contract, to meet legal obligations (including the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and tax rules), and where needed for our legitimate interest in a safe marketplace.

6. Your rights and retention

You may request access, correction or erasure, and object to or restrict processing, as the law allows. We keep KYC and payout records for the period Egyptian tax and commercial rules require, then delete or anonymise them.

7. Contact

For seller privacy requests, write to our Ismailia head office and mark the letter for the marketplace team. Include the store name and the email on the account.
